Since 2016, the Wild Forest Reserve has been rehabilitating and recovering animals that are injured, orphaned, illegally captured, or affected by human impact. If possible, they are returned to the wild. If not, they stay at the Reserve for a second chance at life. The Wild Forest Reserve Foundation focuses on environmental education and research of native species. It works on their recovery and reintroduction in collaboration with public entities.
